To begin The Tale of Rowland Oakes in Hogwarts Legacy, you will find Adelaide Oakes in the Astronomy Wing of the castle. Speak with them and they’ll explain how they want to find their uncle, Rowland, who has been known to spend time around the goblin community.

Follow the quest location on your map and defeat the group of goblins in your path. After doing so, explore the area to find a trade map that will signal where to go next. This is where things get a bit complicated in The Tale of Rowland Oakes quest. Instead of being marked where to go next, you’ll need to use the map you’ve found and decipher it yourself.
