Hogwarts Legacy Jackdaws Tomb Location And Quest
Jackdaw is an NPC in Hogwarts Legacy who is tied to the main questline 'Jackdaw's Rest'. During your travels in Hogwarts Legacy, you'll discover an ancient book with missing pages, to find the pages you'll need to activate the quest 'Jackdaw's Rest' and find Jackdaw's tomb. Hogwarts Legacy Jackdaws Tomb Location

There are four ways in which you can be led to Jackdaw's Tomb, each depending on the Hogwarts house you belong to.
If you are in Gryffindor House, you will receive this quest 'Hunt For The Missing Pages' in which you will be given a clue by Nearly Headless Nick. He will tell you that Jackdaw is a new recruit to the Headless Hunt and is being inducted through a graveyard ceremony.
You must attend the ceremony and speak with Jackdaw after which he will tell you to meet him at his tomb.
Players in Ravenclaw house will receive the 'Ollivander's Heirloom' quest as a prelude to Jackdaw's Rest, where they will help Ollivander chase down a missing wand heirloom.
For Slytherins, you can pick up the quest upon completion of 'Scrope's Last Hope'. Jackdaw will be summoned once players enter the grotto containing Apollonia Black's journal.
Lastly, if you belong to Hufflepuff house you will get the quest called 'Prisoner of Love' in which you will travel to Azkaban to speak to an old classmate of Jackdaw's who was wrongfully imprisoned for his murder.
Each story thread will see Jackdaw summoned; he will then ask you to meet him outside of his tomb which is west of Hogsmeade (pictured above). He will tell you to watch out for a birdbath. If you travel to the location marked above, there will be a birdbath outside of a cave, sealed with a spiral stone door.

Hogwarts Legacy: Jackdaw's Rest

Once you reach Jackdaw's Tomb, a dozen goblin loyalists will show up, dispatch of these and interact with the birdbath. Your character will repeat the lines Jackdaw said to you and the door to the tomb will open.
Once inside, follow these directions:
- The gate ahead is locked. You must cast on all three gold ancient magic symbols in quick succession to open the door. If it doesn’t work you haven’t cast them quickly enough.
- A cutscene will show the foundation of a bridge being summoned, this is where you ultimately need to head to once you have repeated this sequence two more times and fully formed the bridge.
- Continue along the path, using a fire spell to destroy any cobwebs blocking your way.
- Turn right for an optional area to grab a chest.
- Go back and take the left to continue along the main path.
- The next doorway will have three ancient magic symbols. Cast a simple spell at them in quick succession. Note that one of the symbols is off the rocky ledge and will require you to move near the gate to properly see it. (See the above picture).
- Continue up the path, defeating any spiders in your way.
- You'll be faced with an expansive cavern and a floating square platform.
- Use Accio on the platform to bring it towards you.
- Jump on the platform.
- Now, use Accio on the handles connected to the other platforms to control the direction in which the one you are standing on goes.
- The platform straight ahead is the way forward, however, there are some optional rewards for exploring the other platforms first.
- Continue through the caverns, and head towards the last gate, before the bridge.
Click to enlarge- For the bridge to form fully you will need to activate three symbols again. Two are easy to spot, they are on either side of the gate on large rocks. The third is underneath the gate and a large outcropping of rock, behind a chest. (Pictured above).
- Defeat the spiders before continuing, then fire a simple cast at all three symbols of ancient magic. This will trigger that last cutscene and conjure the bridge for you to cross.
- Once you have crossed the bridge, you'll see Jackdaw's remains. Interact with these to get the missing pages.
- Defeat the Ancient Defender statues.
- Advance through the underwater doors.
- You have discovered the Map Chamber and the first step in the Keeper Trials.
