Is There A God of War: Ragnarok Photo Mode?
God of War: Ragnarok will be the triumphant conclusion of Kratos' journey in the Norse mythological world. With that comes incredible visuals, and you'll likely want to take pictures along the way. Will a God of War: Ragnarok photo mode satisfy that need? Read on to find out.

Does God of War: Ragnarok Have A Photo Mode?
Click to enlargeThe stunning God of War: Ragnarok will indeed have a photo mode, but unfortunately, it won't be available at launch. Missing the November 9 release date, Sony Santa Monica tweeted out (via COGConnected), "Photo Mode will be coming to God of War Ragnarök after launch - we’ll share more details closer to when we plan to release it."
The photo mode may release a week or a few months after the launch of the game, which is disappointing for fans. Most of the diehard players of God of War: Ragnarok will likely beat it in a matter of days. However, with the game's multiple difficulties and the many trophies to unlock, those fans will likely play through the game additional times. Hopefully, at that point, God of War: Ragnarok players will be able to take their photo mode pictures and share them on social media.
At least we know that God of War: Ragnarok will likely be a cinematic masterpiece as it has around four and a half hours of cutscenes within the narrative-heavy experience, according to Insider Gaming.

What God of War: Ragnarok Modes Will Be Available At Launch?
Click to enlargeThose who want definitive graphics settings will be happy with God of War: Ragnarok. PlayStation has announced that there will be four different options to choose from, including:
- Resolution, which is at 4K with 30 frames per second
- Performance, which is at 60 frames per second
- Improved Resolution with 4K and 40 frames per second If you have HDMI 2.1 on your TV
- Improved Performance, which runs at 120 frames per second with an HDMI 2.1 compatible TV.
There may also be a New Game Plus mode like the first game, but that hasn't been confirmed as of the time of writing.
