The fact that nearly half of the top 25 FIFA 23 Bundesliga player ratings are from Bayern is unsurprising due to their dominance in the league, but it still is rather staggering to look at. While a Bayern player does still sit in the top spot, it no longer belongs to Robert Lewandowski who has moved over to Barcelona. Instead, Manuel Neuer takes the crown, and he is deputised by four other Bayern players to round off the top five.
New signings Sadio Mané, Matthijs de Ligt, Sébastien Haller, and Timo Werner are all included in the top 25, and they are very much all viable options for your best Bundesliga team at the start. Mané, of course, is of particular interest due to how well he has performed in past FIFA games, but it will certainly be interesting to see where his price settles relative to previous years, now that he is out of the inflation-heavy Premier League.
Finally, there are quite a few notable upgrades across the board in the Bundesliga, introducing a number of cards that you could easily slot into your team. Christopher Nkunku is the obvious choice, after a year that saw him pick up a staggering four separate player of the month awards.
Jude Bellingham is also a player to look out for, as his upgrade to 84 sees him posses a dominant midfield card that can do pretty much everything well. Finally, Moussa Diaby also received a rating increase of three, and he is a card that any pace merchant worth their salt will instantly gravitate towards.
