Destiny 2 now has an RGB Shader called Photo finish, much to the delight of fans of Razer products. Destiny 2 allows players to change the colours of their armour and weapons with Shaders, items that apply new colour schemes. There have been some interesting effects brought about by Shaders in the past, but nothing quite like this. Here is how to get the Destiny 2 RGB Shader Photo Finish.

  • We all know there is nothing more important fashion, so why not check out our cosplay guide to become a Destiny 2 Moon Knight.

To get your hands on this brand new and very colourful Photo Finish Shader, you are going to need to head to the Evervese store. Thankfully, the Shader will not require any real money to purchase. It is available on the front page of the store for 300 Bright Dust. It doesn’t look any different on the page but once you equip it you will see the effect in all its glory.

Photo Finish can be applied like any Shader, but it does not work like any Shader. You could apply it to any piece of gear, but you might not get the RGB colour changing effect. This is because of how Shaders work in Destiny 2. Shaders are not just a blanket colour swap, they don’t just replace the colour of gear, they alter it. Most Shaders will apply their exact colours, but many will simply add a tint or an effect. This is why most Shaders don’t look exactly like their icon when applied to your armour and weapons.

This RGB Shader is further different still, because the colour changing effect only applies to glowing parts of your gear. This is tied in with the glowing armour currently available from the Guardian Games event. However, plenty of other armour and weapons also have glowing effects. Some may be more subtle than others, but there are still more options. Even if you don’t shell out for the fancy Guardian Games armour set, you can still get plenty of use out of this very cheap Shader.

That is everything there is to know about the Destiny 2 RGB Shader. For more on the game, check out our Destiny 2 Guardian Games guide.
