Dead Space Remake: How To Fix Building Shaders

Building shaders are essentially the visual effects that make buildings in games look weathered or particularly textured. You can tell when a game cannot load them in as it will appear clay-like or overly smooth. Some players are reporting this problem with the Dead Space remake.
Possible reasons for this may be that your PC does not meet the minimum requirements to run the game, or your shader cache may be corrupted.
Most of the time when there are problems with building shaders, unfortunately, you have to wait for a dev patch to drop which will fix the issue. There are a few other ways you can try to fix the problem, however. These are:
- First and foremost, try restarting the game. The issue may not be related to anything specific and this will clear the error cache.
- Delete your shader cache.
- Update your drivers.
- Upgrade your hardware.
- Get a Solid State Drive
- Check your PC meets the minimum system requirements.

How To Delete Your Shader Cache

The easiest way to delete your shader cache is to close the game and locate it in your Steam folder. To do so from your library select Program Files(x86)>Steam>steamapps>shadercache
Then delete the ID associated with the game you're looking to clear, for Dead Space remake the ID is (1693980).
When you load up the game again it should build shaders.
