The Animal Crossing: New Horizons update arrived unexpectedly early on 3 November, but fans definitely aren't complaining. There may have been some players who drifted away from the game over time, but the announcement of an upcoming update got fans flocking back to check out the new content.

As well as a plethora of new additions, the update gives players the chance to get their hands on the perfect items to catapult them to Twitch streaming stardom. Only in-game though, sadly.

The furniture collection features everything that a budding Twitch streamer could need. This means players can spend a bit of time on the streaming platform before catching some new tunes from KK Slider or grabbing themselves a coffee over at The Roost - the game's new coffee shop in the museum.

How Can You Be A Twitch Streamer In Animal Crossing?

Twitter user, dianahorizons, shared the news on her page with a featured image containing the furniture collection from the new update. In the image, some of the items seen include a ring light, camera, and multiple computer screens on a work desk. All follow a pastel pink and white colour scheme that we can easily see Imane "Pokimane" Anys using. However, it's likely players will be able to customise them to fit the theme of their home.

The images on the computer screens look particularly similar to the layout used in Twitch. In particular, when streamers are recording or creating a video. Alongside the computer screens are a set of headphones and speakers. Not only that, but players can save up their bells and get a new gaming chair to keep them comfy for a long day of streaming.

What Other New Addition Are Included In The Update?

The last update for New Horizons didn't exactly get the best reaction from fans. At least it seems Nintendo has come back with a bang thanks to its latest Animal Crossing 2.0. update. As well as becoming a Twitch streamer, you can visit Brewster, pop over to Kapp'n and his triumphant return with his boat. Yes, he will obviously be singing sea chanties. Old-school Animal Crossing fans will also be delighted to hear that some of the classic villagers from New Horizons are going to be making their return to the game.

The update is completely free, but players hoping to get their hands on the new Happy Home Paradise DLC will have to pay for it from the Switch eShop. No doubt, there are still plenty of things Animal Crossing players are hoping to get from the various game updates. However, this update has certainly gone a long way in giving gamers old and new the best experience possible. Now, if only Brewster would let us buy more than one coffee a day.
