Even though Nathan Drake might not be coming back to PlayStation with a new game (yet), it looks like he'll find a whole new audience with the leaks of an Uncharted PC collection for the first time ever. If you want to travel the world and gather the spoils of your treasure hunting, now you could in a whole new way.

First released in 2007 as Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, the franchise has since gone on to sell over 41 million units across five games - making it one of the best-selling series of all time. Uncharted has appeared on PlayStation 3, PS4, PS5, and even PlayStation Vita, but apart from Android and iOS, the award-winning games have never left the Sony family.

What is the Uncharted PC collection?

It sounds like Sully, Nathan, and Elena could be taking flight in the Hog Wild all over again - but on a very different system. A post on ResetEra shows off a listing for a new Uncharted Collection, that will bring all five games to Steam and the Epic Games Store. Yes, that also means Chloe Frazer will get her own time to shine thanks to Uncharted: The Lost Legacy being included in this mythical bundle.

Despite sceptics, the advert contains the logo for Nixxes Software, which was recently acquired by Sony and is known for PC ports of popular games.

If this is the real deal, the post is set to go live at 10am on Monday, September 6. Uncharted: The Naughty Dog PC Collection (we're not sure on the name) is tipped for a December 7 release, and although there's no time zone for the announcement, next Monday could be one to watch.

Is the Uncharted PC collection real?

With the success of Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone, the debate around PC ports of PlayStation exclusives has become a major point of contention. Only recently, we covered how Sony Studios boss Herman Hulst downplayed the idea of more PC ports. Saying they simply aren't a priority, this seemed to be the final nail in the coffin for Ghost of Tsushima on PC.

For the time being, Sony is dedicated to releasing exclusives like God of War: Ragnarok and Horizon Forbidden West, however, both of these have just been delayed. Added to this, Jim Ryan has promised more Sony exclusives are on the way. Some aren't sure whether the Uncharted leak is legit, and let's remember ResetEra doesn't have the best track record. Still, there are those that think we're on the cusp of Uncharted on PC. If only Nathan Drake was here to draw us a map to the answer.
