Two worlds collided when Respawn Entertainment released Apex Legends, featuring many guns and mechanics from Titanfall 2. Many believed Apex Legends to be "Titanfall 3", however, the battle-royale was released as a stand-alone game, although there are many crossovers.

An Apex Legends dataminer, who has leaked much information from Respawn Entertainment, has stated: "Titanfall 3 is for real".

TheNeon_Beast continued to say "I’m pretty sure leakers can say the same, cuz we have totally different sources. The good thing is: even with different sources, the rumour is exactly the same". The Brazilian leaker has now deleted his tweet which also stated that "I don't believe in coincidence, not in my watch".

Popular dataminer Biast12 also backed this up but has since deleted his tweet, which stated: "Yeah, I can confirm that part" in response to the rumours being "real".

Back in early August, Respawn Entertainment's CFO, Blake Jorgensen, teased fans stating “Maybe we’ll see Titanfall sometime down the road.” when discussing the future direction of the developers. Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella also stated back in May that he would be interested to see if there was "some kind of resurrection there," in terms of Titanfall, before promising to "see if [he] could make something happen".

Respawn Entertainment also purchased a brand new development centre earlier this year, which was first rumoured to be a production studio for Apex Legends. However, with this new rumour surfacing from trusted names within the industry, the centre could be the catalyst for Titanfall 3, which could already be in the works if this is the case.

With the future of Titanfall in suspense, Respawn is hard at work developing Apex Legends Season 7, which is also on the horizon.
