Of all of the communities in gaming, Bloodborne fans may be the most chronically online... and angry. Of course, it's impossible to dispute that FromSoftware's Victorian romp is an impressive game, and although its fans have chosen a banger to rally around, many of them seem to think that being a good game makes it entitled to a remake.

Despite Bloodborne only launching on the PS3 seemingly making it rife for a new-gen remake, any mention of the game mans fans flock to furiously demand the revamp that they feel entitled to. And it seems that one of the social media managers at PlayStation forgot this fact.

Why Are Bloodborne Fans Angry At Sony?

Try to act surprised - Bloodborne fans are feeling let down by Sony fans once again, as one of its tweets makes reference to the game in a harmless way that players interpreted as a tease for the rumoured remake.

In an innocuous move, Sony's Twitter sent out a sweet tweet asking players to guess the game's cover art. It has been chosen from a very zoomed-in screenshot, but the game was, of course, Bloodborne.

The account was forced to delete the tweet as a result of fans dogpiling on it, making a fuss about how this was bound to be a tease for an upcoming remake of the title. Spoiler alert - it isn't. Sorry.

What Do We Know About The Bloodborne Remake?

Though rumours and community calls have put a Bloodborne remake/remaster close to the front of games that fans want, it doesn't look like we should actually prepare for it any time soon.

Back in July, leaker and reporter Jason Schreier responded to a fan asking him to leak information pertaining to a Bloodborne remake, saying "Can't leak what doesn't exist." Yikes. Sorry Bloodborne fans, but you might have to keep dreaming for now. Or at the very least, stop harassing Sony's social media team. That's not how you make friends.
