Hideo Kojima's "P.T." was released on PS4 in 2014, as a playable teaser for a full game named “Silent Hills” which was eventually cancelled. The puzzling game set in a house full of repeating corridors, where new horrors were around every corner, was met with critical acclaim and had fans buzzing for what was next.

According to a new report, Konami and PlayStation are now working together to revive Hideo Kojima's cancelled Silent Hills game, although the project hasn’t been fully brought back from the dead just yet. Kojima himself has been hinting that he’s working on a horror game for some time now, and what better than the titan of fright Silent Hill?

The report then states that the game will not be released before the launch of PlayStation 5. It will make use of the next-gen PlayStation VR headset for PS5, but like Resident Evil 7, will be playable without VR.

Check out the full playthrough of P.T below;

Norman Reedus, star of the Walking Dead and Kojima's latest AAA title 'Death Stranding', recently revealed in an interview that himself and Kojima "did 'Death Stranding', which was a huge hit, and we're in talks to do other stuff, so..". Reedus appears in the final scene of P.T, and this latest chunk of information certainly fuels the fire that Silent Hills could be revived sooner, rather than later.

On the back of Hideo Kojima’s recently released ‘Death Stranding’, which was a “love it or hate it” title for fans and critics alike, only time will tell if Kojima runs with his Silent Hills project.
