When you cast your mind back through the history of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO), a select few dynasties are etched into memory, such as the early Fnatic era of 2015 and the three-peat Major successes of Astralis in 2018/19.

After conquering the HLTV standings for over six months, winning all three of the last international championships - two of which were on LAN as the online saga concluded - murmurs have begun to surface that Natus Vincere could be considered as a dynasty team.

Na'Vi's recent success at the Intel Grand slam and the PGL Stockholm Major has sparked fire into the debate, although their main man has now played down such talks.

Ahead of the BLAST Premier: Fall Final 2021, in Copenhagen, Na'Vi superstar Oleksandr "s1mple" Kostyliev has hushed the discussions of a Na'Vi era.

Speaking in a press conference, s1mple measured his side's success next to Astralis' of 2018/19, saying: "If you compare it to Astralis, we need to stay at the top for at least three, four, five months more to start a strong era like Astralis did. They won a lot of tournaments.

"We have been top one in the world for the last five months in HLTV’s ranking, but I want more. Five months is not a long period, if you compare it to Astralis."

Na'Vi and s1mple will be looking at getting their hands on their fourth consecutive international title at the Fall Finals, where they have identified the likes of their CIS rivals Gambit and European stalwarts Ninjas in Pyjamas as their main rivals.

Despite being a strong contender though, NiP's Nicolai "dev1ce" Reedtz has also put a dampener on the hype, saying that his side have no expectations following their recent roster change

However, once the first shots are fired, it's likely that the LAN setting will ramp up the antics once again.
