Red Bull Campus Clutch - A Fierce Turkey Team Aim To Make Their Nation Proud
Throughout esports history, the Turkish community has consistently produced some of the best FPS talents that have graced the globe.
From Özgür "woxic" Eker and Can "XANTARES" Dörtkardes in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive to Asım "Fabulous" Cihat Karakaya in League of Legends, the talent is recognised worldwide and worshipped in their own nation.
Now, looking to kick-start their VALORANT careers, Turkey's Bedel Ödeyenler are looking to make their nation proud at the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Finals.
Speaking exclusively to GGRecon, Bedel's superstar Arda "Madzzy" Demirel has claimed that he wants to make the nation proud in the University world finals before going on to have a successful five-year VALORANT career.
Ahead of the event, Madzzy said: "we have a really big VALORANT community here in Turkey, and we want to be an inspiration for them!"
"We have a really good talent pool who want to be esports players. So, if we win this tournament - and I believe we will - it will be great for the families of these players, to prove something. Maybe their mum and dad can see that we are the champions as Turkey and that we can create a future out of this."
Turkey's national representation come into the Red Bull Campus Clutch World Finals as many players, fans, and casters' favourites, with over half of the roster already playing professionally.
With one of the fiercer line-ups, and the only side at the event to already taste VALORANT Masters level of play, Madzzy has eyed Egyptian roster Anubis as their biggest threat.
The Turkish sentinel also described their playstyle as "fast and trusting", whilst admitting the team could look to utilise KAY/O, who will make his first appearance in VALORANT esports after being disabled on the professional tour for the first round of the Challengers series.
