Ever since he blew up through the Fortnite craze, Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has remained as one of the most-watched streamers on Twitch - ever since making the switch back after his lucrative Mixer contract was disintegrated through their partnership with Facebook Gaming.

Having been one of the most dominant streamers in the world, Ninja has arguably become the face of gaming through multiple Adidas sponsorships, television adverts, and appearing in movies such as Ryan Reynolds' Free Guy

However, as Ninja enjoys his time hanging out with Hollywood's finest, his streaming career has begun to take a step back.

Taking to a Q&A with his wife, Jessica Blevins, Ninja has now stated that it's not the public cameos that are making his on-air time dwindle, instead, it's "chat baiters" on Twitch.

Ninja Claims Chat-Baiting Is Keeping Him Off Twitch

The pair admitted that “knowing that every single second of what you’re doing is being looked at,” is one of the most stressful parts of their lives, with Ninja adding that there has to be some censorship in his language, especially with onlookers trying to "trip him up".

Ninja said: "The reason I’m not streaming as much as I normally do right now, is because every time I stream, I feel like I’m getting a bunch of donations and questions and people in the chat trying to get me to say something, and then it ends up being twisted, and it blows up in my face."

He continued: "It’s like, f*** this, I don’t need to be giving people chances to clickbait me and make me look bad, it’s stupid. You don’t become fake, but you [do] start answering things in non-serious ways."

Recently, Ninja also spoke out about the 'sad truth' of being 'famous' and 'wealthy', and how he struggles to know the true intentions of people trying to get close to him. This came just weeks after the streamer also revealed that he once made $5million in one month off a Fortnite Creator Code alone.

Ninja remains the most-followed person on Twitch despite his recent drop-off, although a vastly growing Felix "xQc" Lengyel is catching up.
