Xbox Game Pass has been proving itself to be one of the best features of the latest generation of gaming. The greatest asset in the Xbox’s arsenal, they’ve managed to replace the demand for exclusive titles (so far) with a seemingly endless stream of games for a lump fee every month, full of AAA titles that marks the console as the champion of the casual gamer. It’s not just Xbox though - Game Pass extends to Windows and Cloud gaming on Android if you’re a part of the Ultimate subscription, meaning that it becomes the most versatile gaming subscription in the world right now.

And now, a new update to Game Pass is set to make the roster even bigger, and if you’re one of the users who put its cloud gaming to good use, it’s quite an exciting one.

The other two titles, The Catch: Carp & Coarse Fishing and Knockout City, will come out the day after on May 21.  Maneater, one of the first titles to release alongside the Xbox Series X|S will be coming to the Xbox game pass on May 25, along with Cloud and PC. However, May 27 is a whopper of a day for Game Pass additions, bringing Conan Exiles and its Series X|S upgrade, Fuzion Frenzy, Joy Ride Turbo, MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, Slime Rancher, Solasta: Crown of the Magister and SpellForce 3: Soul Harvest to Xbox, PC and Cloud. As a part of the rollout for Game Pass’ Cloud gaming, more games have received support for Xbox’s touch controls, meaning that players won’t have to use controllers when playing on the go. The games added to this list are;

  • Banjo-Tooie
  • Call of the Sea
  • Genesis Noir
  • Narita Boy
  • Nier: Automata Become As Gods Edition
  • Rain on Your Parade
  • Two Point Hospital

These games are playable with the new control scheme from today, so you can leave your controller at home.

What Games Are Leaving Game Pass?

As with every game update, there are some titles that will sadly be leaving the game pass this month. The following games will no longer be free to you from May 31, so get them played as soon as you can manage!

  • Assetto Corsa (Cloud and Console)
  • Broforce (PC)
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5+2.5 Remix (Console)
  • Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue (Console)
  • Surviving Mars (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Void Bastards (Cloud, Console, PC)

It’s a shame that such great titles are leaving the pass, but it’s a sacrifice that needs to be made for the great new titles on their way in. The Game Pass just keeps getting better, and it’s the best asset that Microsoft have in their gaming arsenal.
