The staying power of the GTA franchise has been proven time and time again, but few moments have exemplified it than the reveal of the remastered GTA Trilogy.

The collection of Grand Theft Auto IIIGrand Theft Auto: San Andreas and Grand Theft Auto: Vice City set the gaming world ablaze when it was announced recently - and there wasn't even any footage. The franchise still has as lively a fan-base as it did back in the day, perhaps even moreso, and players are unbelievably ready for a new chance to play the classics - even if they haven't seen how it looks yet.

Well, that's all about to change. The gameplay trailer for the remastered GTA Trilogy is here, and the games look... different.

The Remastered GTA Trilogy Gameplay Trailer Has Launched

The new trailer for the remastered GTA Trilogy just dropped, and the visual style of the original games has been changed drastically.

The trailer reveals our first genuine looks at GTA IIISan Andreas and Vice City with a totally refreshed art style.

It was revealed on Twitter by Rockstar Games, who also offered an insight into how the game will run.

The game will be able to run at 4K and 60fps on the Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5, and offers the ability to immediately restart missions. It also comes with improved gunplay, a GTA V style controller layout, and an entirely rebuilt lighting system.

The games look brilliant despite their bold artistic choices, and we can't wait to get our hands on it. And, there's good news on that front, as the trilogy's release date is just around the corner.

When Is The GTA Remastered Trilogy Coming Out?

The release date of the game pack has been rumoured for some time, as we didn't get an official date - until now.

It has now been confirmed that the trilogy will be with digital customers on November 11, with the physical version coming later on December 7. So you can have the game in just a few weeks, or get a copy for Christmas. Sounds perfect.

The game pack is coming to Xbox, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch and PC, so whichever platform you frequent, you have the chance to jump back into the classics. Is it cheeky to say we wish it'd come sooner than November 11?
