Fall Guys has had quite a life, hasn't it?

Seemingly a global phenomenon from the second it launched, the massive Total Wipeout-alike smashed through audiences at the height of the pandemic and became yet another gaming phenomenon.

Fall Guys has made Mediatonic a big name in gaming already, and they've certainly earned their accolades with a constantly updating game and social media presence unlike anything else in the industry.

And, for the very few who haven't played the game yet, you'll have a chance to jump in the multiplayer action for free - but you'll need to be quick about it.

Fall Guys Mutliplayer Is Getting A Free Weekend

If you've been clamouring to give Fall Guys ago but have been waiting for the perfect opportunity, we've got some good news. The games multiplayer is set to go free-to-play for a limited time, but you're going to want to absolutely cram the game before its price tag returns.

Fall Guys multiplayer will be going free-to-play from February 12 to 14 - which is this weekend. The news was revealed in a new Free Online Multiplayer Trailer to celebrate Valentine's weekend, bolstering their new bean skins at the same time.

Is Fall Guys A 'Dead Game'?

A lot of people have been hoping that a free weekend would come along, as Fall Guys has suffered a measured dip in players since it first launched. A lot of players regard the game as 'dead', but still, it maintains a fairly strong playerbase.

Maybe the free-to-play multiplayer weekend will help to give it a new lease of life, and frankly, the game deserves it. It's a brilliantly goofy game that has earned its audience, and a big cultural comeback for Fall Guys would be massively welcome.

Who knows what this weekend will bring the game, but one thing's for sure - it's high time we jumped back in and went after the crown once again.
