What is it with video games loving The Mandalorian at the moment?

It’s a great show for sure, but it looks like the video game industry has truly latched on. A supposed "leaked" Mandalorian game has come to light, and of course, the legendary Giancarlo Esposito has been cast as a leering villain in Far Cry 6.

Now, another gaming franchise has hired a big name from the series to play a pivotal role in its upcoming title.

Dying Light 2 Recruits Rosario Dawson For Role In Campaign

Yesterday’s Dying 2 Know stream brought a lot of fresh details to light about the upcoming Dying Light 2 - including a new key member of the game’s cast. As it turns out, the character of Lawan will be voiced by Rosario Dawson. As well as taking the role of Ahsoka Tano in The Mandalorian, Dawson has appeared in Luke CageSin City, and more.

Dawson is the first big-name actress to join the game. Apparently, her character will play a large role in Dying Light 2, as she has a "close relationship" with the new protagonist, Aiden Caldwell.

Interestingly, this isn’t Dawson’s first step into video games either - she’s previously appeared in gaming as Isa Ellington in NBA 2K20.

What Else Was Revealed In The Dying 2 Know Stream?

The Dying 2 Know livestream revealed a few new details about Dying Light 2, especially pointing out the game’s map and the creation of its soundscapes and music. It also featured some interviews with the team who worked on the game, like Katarzyna Zielinska and Bartosz Januszkiewicz, who are two members of the game’s visual department.

Dying Light 2 keeps looking better and better, with every new snippet we get as it develops. We know for sure that the next-gen title has some great talent behind the mic, and although it was delayed to February next year, we're "dying2 to see more from Dying Light 2
