Fans have been desperate for details on an upgraded Switch console for years now. The expectation of a new Switch has been burning for some time, with fans speculating what a Switch console could do with better battery life and boosted processing power. These wishes came about when fans began to worry what a sequel to Breath of the Wild would look like without better visual fidelity and a more powerful processor, but it looks like Nintendo are providing.

Teases to the super-Switch being a reality have started appearing all over the place in many different places, and fan hype has reached a fever pitch. But now, some new details have suggested that a reveal could be right around the corner.

Amazon Leaks Switch Pro Details

In the replies to a tweet by Wario64, Twitter user Alphabeat_g reports their findings on Amazon Mexico, reporting a ‘New Nintendo Switch Pro’ being prepared for a launch.

There’s no prospective date on the listing, nor are there any images to go with it, but it looks like a retailer might have listed the item a touch early. The brand is officially branded as Nintendo, so maybe a reveal isn’t too far off. That fits some recent rumours about the console’s reveal, too.

Rumours have circulated now about a close reveal of the Switch Pro/ New Switch, and the Amazon leak could prove a fan theory about the reveal of the console. Many expect that the upgraded hardware will be revealed before Nintendo present at E3 on June 12th, in order to keep the presentation from being bogged down by hardware talk. It’s a welcome thought, especially as it implies that Nintendo will have plenty to show off at the conference. It makes sense for Nintendo, and paired with this Amazon leak, it looks even more feasible. We can assume the Switch Pro is on its way, and so the question becomes when will we get it? And as it seems from this leak, we could be finding out very soon.
