How To Find Chiara Favarone's Red Implant In Vampire The Masquerade Swansong

The VTM Swansong Red Implant is an important item you need to obtain during a mission with Galeb. However, VTM Swansong doesn't give important items freely. In this case, you must get the implant from one NPC in a group of three. Accessing the area they are in and finding an opportunity far from other human’s eyes to attack is essential. Here is an explanation of how you can get the VTM Swansong Red Implant from Chiara Favarone and find the passwords.

What Is The VTM Swansong Red Implant?

During Galeb’s mission in Scene 6, you are going to infiltrate the Society of St. Leopold’s facility to hunt the leader of the organization. As expected from a secret organization, the place is covered with different security systems. To progress the story and go further into the facility, some implants are needed.

They are used as a means to identify a person's level of authority inside the organization and as a consequence which rooms are accessible or which doors can be open. Eventually, you will need to get the Red Implant, the highest level of access. Since there are no spare ones, your mission is to take one out of the hand of one among three NPCs. This is how to get the Red Implant from Chiara Favarone.

Once you get further into Galeb’s mission up until the point where you need the Red Implant to open a door, you will find yourself in a type of control room with access to three other places: pyre, treasure, and clinic. Take the left route and enter the clinic area. Here is where you will find Chiara Favarone with her Red Implant. However, she is out of range in the Experimentation Room.

To reach her, the first thing you must do is to obtain a suit to enter the Experimentation Room. Go to the Locker Room where you find Dr. Henry’s closed locker. He is the doctor in the Lab. You may try to convince him to give you the password for the locker, but in case you fail, it is pretty easy to find this piece of information if you read our VTM Swansong tips and you are paying close attention to notes or computers in the rooms.

In the Lab, a little memo can be found in which is written "I got your email. Look at the lucky patient’s number. Signed: Henry". This is the first clue you need to know that Henry’s password has something to do with this "lucky patient". At the computer in the same room, you will find a note written by him talking about the same patient. Use what you get from this and go back to the Locker Room to open Henry’s locker.

The next step is wearing the suit you just got access to and entering the Experimentation Room. Once inside, you will see that Chiara is not totally in the room. Only her hands are close to you since she is in a separate room divided by a glass, which is enough because the implants are inserted into people’s hands. Try to grab hers and a small cutscene will play, starting the second phase of this mission.

To have another shot at getting the Red Implant from her, you must go to the Cold Storage, right beside the Lab, and get a Cerebellum for her. It is extremely important to keep in mind what she is asking you to look for.

Cold Storage is a corridor full of shelves with boxes divided into three sections. The only piece of information given by Chiara is a code: JD-F-03-320. She then mentions that you must bring her the Cerebellum from the same person registered with this code. However, even after looking at every shelf, you won’t find the JD-F-03-320 box. That's because you must complement the code with the other clue she gave you: the Cerebellum.

In a chart on the wall, there are the codes for each part of the bodies that are kept there. If you read it carefully, you will see that the code for Cerebellum is different. So, change the last numbers and find the right box. After that, all you need to do is get back to the Experimentation Room and finally get your Red Implant.

Then, enter the Experimentation Room, watch the cutscene then head to the Cold Storage where you will be looking for a shelf under the name of Jara Drory at the end of the room and open the box with the JD-F-03-120 code.
