Realm Royale Reforged: Return Of Armour
Click to enlargeRunes are no more as Armour is back in Realm Royale. There are four different pieces of Armour, each providing unique benefits to its wearer:
- Helm: Increased Cooldown reduction
- Breastplate: Additional Armour, plus Armour and Health per second
- Gauntlets: Increased Reload and Weapon Swap speed
- Greaves: Increased Movement speed and Mount speed
Like Weapons and Abilities, Armour comes in different rarities and can be upgraded at Forges.
Realm Royale Reforged: Emphasis On Classes

Realm Royale Reforged: Class-Specific Abilities
Movement Abilities
In Realm Royale Reforged, you cannot swap or remove your Class-specific Movement Abilities. The Movement Abilities assigned to each Class are as follows:
- Warrior: Heroic Leap
- Hunter: Grapple Hook (New)
- Mage: Soar
- Assassin: Blink
Realm Royale Reforged: Class-Specific Weapons
Class Weapons can only be wielded by their respective Class. Each Class in Realm Royale Reforged starts with two Weapons, but Hi-Rez Studios plans to add more at a later date. The Class Weapons in Realm Royale Reforged are as follows:
- Warrior
- Throwing Axe
- Long Sword
- Hunter
- Longbow
- Crossbow
- Mage
- Fire Staff
- Ice Staff
- Assassin
- Sniper Rifle
- Heirloom Rifle
Realm Royale Reforged: Class Chests
New in Realm Royale Reforged, Class Chests are a rare type of Chest that, when opened, offer Class-specific weapons and abilities, plus Armour.

Combat Abilities are a fusion of Support and Offensive Abilities. You can equip Combat Abilities in either of the first two slots on the ability bar. Like weapons, some Combat Abilities are Class-locked while others are Universal.
Universal Combat Abilities
- Lightfoot Potion - Throw a flask that increases mobility and jump height.
Class Combat Abilities
- Assassin
- Decoy - Spawn a clone that shoots while the user gains brief invisibility.
- Warrior
- Enrage - Go Berserk with superhuman strength, gaining increased Attack Speed, Life Steal, and damage dealt.
- Mage
- Fireball - Cast a blazing fireball at your enemy.
Realm Royale Reforged: New Weapons
Universal Weapons
- Auto Sniper Rifle - A long-range semi–Auto Sniper Rifle capable of scoping.
Class Weapons
- Mage
- Fire Staff - Hurls fireballs at your target, dealing AOE damage.
- Ice Staff - Shoots icicle projectiles, dealing damage and slowing your target by 20%.

Realm Royale Reforged: Changes To Game Mode Queues
At launch, Realm Royale Reforged will feature Solos and Trios playlists exclusively — Duos and Squads are gone. The Realm Royale community isn't large enough to support a bunch of different playlists. So, the goal is to get matches with more real players and fewer NPCs. Also, the thought is that Solos and Trios offer more balanced gameplay.
