With a MultiVersus Arya Stark guide, players can climb to the new heights with the youngest daughter of the Stark family from Game of Thrones. While raising your MultiVersus MMR with this character can be quite tricky, we’ve got the tips that can help you improve with her. Everything you need to know is right here in the MultiVersus Arya Stark guide.

MultiVersus Arya Stark Guide: Overview

As the lightest character in MultiVersus, Arya Stark is the very definition of a glass cannon. And, as an Assassin, she has the Glass Cannon passive ability, which causes her to take 14% more damage than other characters. As a result, Arya’s opponents won’t have much trouble quickly racking up damage and sending her past the blast zones.

Nevertheless, Arya is a Hybrid fighter whose speed and combo abilities still enable her to keep up in battle. In addition, she can support her team by spawning a pie any time she rings out an opponent. This pie will heal allies who touch it and slow down enemies who touch it.

Finally, Arya’s passive ability, Backstab, causes her and her teammates to deal more damage with attacks that hit from behind. Her grounded neutral-normal takes advantage of this, as she rolls behind opponents before attacking them. Arya can also neutral dodge any attack to give her and her ally Turn Attack, which causes their next move to break armour and turn around the opponent it hits.

MultiVersus Arya Stark Guide: Specials

Arya Stark’s neutral-special in MultiVersus is Face-Stealer. Though it has a bit of a slow start-up, she can use it to steal an opponent’s face. Then, she can input the move again to transform into her opponent and perform a taunt. This action sends out a shockwave that stuns opponents. However, she must wait through a cooldown period in between uses of this move.

For her side-special, Knife-Thrower, Arya tosses a knife that can attach to other characters or the ground. Pressing the input again will cause her to dash toward her knife and attack. The move has less cooldown if her knife attaches to another character. While this move is on cooldown, her side-special is instead a spinning stab with forwards momentum that can break armour.

Arya’s up-special, Dagger Slash, has her slash above her head with a knife. While the move has a fairly small hitbox, it is a great combo starter. After landing this attack, Arya will automatically dash in the direction she sends her opponents, allowing her to follow up with another hit.

Finally, Arya’s down-special is called Blade-Sharpener. By doing this move, she gives herself the Turn Attack buff. If she is playing in a Doubles match, she will dash to her ally and give them Turn Attack as well.

MultiVersus Arya Stark Guide: Perks

Like many other characters in MultiVersus, Arya Stark gains access to two signature perks. The first, Betrayal, allows her to grant her ally Enraged by attaching a knife to them with her side-special. The Enraged buff causes characters to inflict the Weakened debuff with their next attack.

In addition, Betrayal lets Arya get Enraged herself if she presses side-special again and dashes toward her teammate. However, the move has a longer cooldown if this perk is active. Meanwhile, the Trophy perk automatically gives Arya her opponent’s face when she knocks them out.

While Arya doesn’t naturally learn any Defense perks, she benefits from the Offense perk Snowball Effect. This causes her team to deal 7% more damage to whichever fighter has the highest damage. This allows her to run away with any leads she gets.

Arya can also make good use of two Utility perks. Fancy Footwork increases her dodge distance by 5%, improving her defensive game and her aerial movement. Meanwhile, Leg Day Champ makes her even more of a threat in the air by upping her jump height by 10%.

MultiVersus Arya Stark Guide: Combos

Though a bit difficult to land, Arya’s up-special is a crucial combo starter. After landing it, she will automatically chase opponents, allowing her to combo into an up-air or forward-air. Arya can also combo two up-specials into each other, then finish off her opponent with an up-air near the top of the screen.

If she can manage to steal her opponent’s face, it will help her combo game as well. Stunning her opponent will make it easier to land her up-special or any other combo starter. Conversely, she can attach a knife to an enemy and immediately dash to them and attack them with an aerial. Since she lacks projectiles, these moves are crucial for helping Arya approach and get her offence started.
