Though they were once ubiquitous in the industry, modern games have moved away from the whole concept of cheats. These days, the closest thing you might find to a cheat is a microtransaction that lets you pay for in-game currency or items.
As such, we can hardly expect to see cheats resurface in such a big-time, mainstream release as God of War Ragnarok. That said, there is one realm of game cheating that has remained largely untouched. One method of altering games beyond their intended use, but that world is beyond this God of War Ragnarok, at least for now.

God Of War Ragnarok Cheats: What About Mods?
Click to enlargeYes, the one way games still get absolutely annihilated by fans is with mods. Sadly, mods are generally a PC-only thing, and God of War Ragnarok is a console exclusive. That said, Sony has begun porting many of its games to PC, where modders are free to fiddle with them and do all sorts of fun things. Currently, there is no word on when or if we can expect God of War Ragnarok on PC, but there is reason to hope. The previous game, God of War, found its way to PC in January of this year. Nearly four years is a long time to wait, but considering Sony has been ramping up their PC porting in recent years. Hopefully, we will not have to wait as long for Ragnarok on PC.
Since coming to PC, God of War has seen a whole host of mods made for it. Whole new features, graphical changes, different appearances for the characters, everything you would expect from the modding community. There is even a mod to remove most of Kratos' beard, leaving him with just a moustache, fully embracing his inner dad. No doubt, when God of War Ragnarok likely comes to PC in the coming years, it will receive similar treatment. Then we might finally be able to say that God of War Ragnarok has cheats.
