Learning how to get Silica in Dawn of Ragnarok is crucial to the new Hugr-Rip powers. Assassin's Creed has gone all mythical with its latest DLC expansion, and with it, a new resource type has entered the game. Silica is the most valuable resource you'll come across in your time in Svartalfheim, so you best be sure you know how to get your hands on some. Here's what you need to know about how to get Silica in Dawn of Ragnarok.

Silica in Dawn of Ragnarok is a precious mining resource which allows players to upgrade their Hugr-Rip. You can learn more about that in our guide on how to upgrade the Hugr-Rip in Dawn of Ragnarok. This means that Silica isn't a bountiful supply, and instead has to be deliberately sought out.

As a main staple of Valhalla, Raids are unsurprisingly still a part of this latest DLC, and the main way to earn Silica in Dawn of Ragnarok. Raid locations are marked on the map as crossed red axes, and there are a total of ten raids available across Svartalfheim.

To start a raid simply enter the area and blow the horn, which you can access via the quick action wheel (down on the D-Pad on consoles, G on PCs). You can try and take out some of the guards in an area stealthily to start, but you will need to call in your crew to complete a raid.

Once you have taken out most of the enemies there will be doors or gateway which will need to be broken down with the help of one of your crew. Once inside you will notice a large standing pillar, speckled with yellow. Knock these over with a crewmember to collect Silica. Each raid should supply you with roughly 10 silica, and for reference a Hugr-Rip upgrade costs five.

Now you know how to earn Silica In Dawn of Ragnarok. Partner your upgraded Hugr-Rip with a new skill after solving the Dawn of Ragnarok Fidsthorp puzzle.
