Though a lot of gaming merchandise is a little - well - dorky, Pokemon has managed to buck this trend every once in a while. The Pokemon Company's collaboration with Original Stitch was a prime example of this, as it let fans pick up gorgeous dress shirts, aprons, and more - all peppered with patterns based on 466 different Pokemon.

The collab was proof that companies don't have to just slap a design on a t-shirt and settle there, and that you can actually do something extraordinary to allow fans to show their love. And now, The Pokemon Company intends to do it all over again. Only this time, in a far more contentious way.

The Pokemon Company Reveals Pokemon Crocs

You read that right. They're real. It has officially been revealed that Pokemon has partnered with Crocs to create some fancy new clogs, and you're either going to love them or hate them.

The base Crocs include their iconic shape and come in two different designs. There's one featuring an all-over Pikachu design, while the other boasts a more colourful patter that features the first game's starter Pokemon of Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle.

There is also a sandal version of the second design, along with kids' and toddlers' versions of the design too. And though the first design comes with its own Pikachu Jibbitz charms, there's also a 5-pack of alternate accessories.

Where Can I Buy The Pokemon Crocs?

If you want to pick up the Pokemon Crocs for yourself (you're brave, because we're not sure what outfits they could possibly go with) then you can nab them up directly from the Crocs store for $49.99 (clogs) and $44.99 (sandals).

Some were split by the idea in general, while someone asked, "How is there not a Fuecoco Croc?" Namely, there were complaints that there is a distinctive lack of crocodile Pokemon-themed Crocs. Where's the Totodile crossover? We'll admit that the collaboration is bold, bizarre, and particularly garish. If you're keen though, then jump on them ASAP, before they all sell out. You're braver than we are.
