The Pokemon Christmas Collection 2022 Has Already Dropped
Ho, ho, Ho-Oh, we know it's only October, but we need to start facing facts that Christmas is nearly here. As Halloween returns to the grave and Bonfire Night goes out with a bang, the supermarket shelves are already starting to groan with cheese wheels and advent calendars. On the plus side, it means the Pokemon Christmas collection is also back.
It's the most magical time of the year, and as our TV schedule fills with Christmas specials, your favourite video game franchises are also gearing up for the holidays. Of all of them, Pokemon is probably the easiest to market. Stick a Santa hat on an Eevee and whack a markup on it - the kids will go crazy.
What's In The Pokemon Christmas Collection 2022?
Over on The Pokemon Center now in America, the UK, and Canada, you can already start filling your stockings and wrapping presents for under the tree. All the Pokemon Center sites are bursting with seasonal showstoppers, so whether it's for yourself or a Secret Santa, Pikachu is coming down your chimney with some treats.
There are over 40 items that are new for Christmas 2022, and while most of them are sweaters for the office Christmas jumper party, there are ornaments, pin sets, and more. Even though the priciest items come in at around $50/£50, we're sure there's something here for those on a smaller budget. On average, you'll be spending about $30/£30, but considering you might pay that for unofficial merch, it's not too bad.
Highlights include Galarian Ponyta Gloves, Wooloo Winter Fun Pokémon Snow Globe, Vulpix & Alolan Vulpix Snowflake Knit Sweater, and the Together for the Holidays Pokémon Pin Box Set. You can also build your own Polar Express with the Delibird Holiday Express carts, which would look great under the tree. Some of these are exclusive to specific companies, and we'll be honest, the USA has a much bigger selection.

Thus turning me into something I hate…someone who buys Christmas decor before Halloween." Another joked, "I'm going to be poor."
Not everyone was sold though. One critic concluded, "First batch of Christmas stuff dropped on Pokémon Center website and honestly it’s almost as underwhelming as the Halloween collection. other than the life-size plushies I haven’t been impressed with their selection lately tbh." Convinced or not, the Pokemon Center is sure to make a not-so-small fortune this year. With Pokemon Scarlet and Violet just around the corner, Pokefever is ready to take over the gaming world again in 2022... and just in time for Christmas.
