If you were frequenting the internet in 2013, you'll know better than anyone about Vine. The app was a short-form video platform, where users could share six-second-long video clips. It may seem pretty strange to think about what content could fit in such a short amount of time, but it led to some iconic (and quotable) moments.

What Vine Has Saints Row Put In-Game?

Now, the 2022 version of Saints Row has taken us back a decade, and included an Easter egg for Vine lovers everywhere. A Twitter user shared an image, which has taken us back in time.

For those who aren't familiar, a Vine went viral when a woman filmed a Del Taco sign with the words 'Fresh Avocado' on it. However, the spacing is so strange that it looks like something entirely different. This is one of those moments where you kind of just have to watch it to understand.

As you can see from the 15,000,000 views of the YouTube video - it was (and still is) an incredibly popular meme.

What Other Easter Eggs Are In Saints Row?

If you look on Twitter, you'll see that players are finding multiple Easter eggs in the game. From Xenoblade Chronicles...

To Kevin Smith's iconic Clerks...

And even Legend of Zelda...

It appears that the devs had a lot of fun incorporating all kinds of references into the game. Seeing as the game only released on August 26, we can probably expect a lot more Easter eggs to be discovered over the next few months.

In regards to the reception so far, reviews have been mixed. It's currently sat at a 7/10 on Steam, and a 63 on Metacritic. However, the user score is at a 3/10. Some have cited the reason for the low reviews being some teething issues at launch. You can read our full review here
