Despite Halo Infinite's launch date not taking place until December 8, the opening scene of the game's campaign has reportedly leaked online. Don't worry, we won't be spoiling anything for you here - you're safe to keep reading.

The opening cutscene for the start of Halo Infinite appears to be making the rounds on social media, and it's even more important than ever to warn potential players of the spoiler minefield out there.

Halo Infinite Opening Scene: Where Can You Find It?

If you're currently wanting to go in blind and enjoy the game for the first time on December 8, then you'll need to be wary when perusing Twitter, Reddit, and YouTube. Pure Xbox confirms that the Halo Infinite opening scene is already out there in the wild.

With the launch fast approaching, press releases of the game have since been sent out to content creators and media with access to the first four campaign missions, meaning that it's highly likely the opening scene is an accurate spoiler - despite 343 Industries' pleas to leave certain elements of the footage uncaptured to avoid this exact issue.

The majority of the world will listen to and respect 343's wishes, as Michael Caine's Alfred so aptly put it in The Dark Knight, "Some people just want to watch the world burn," and will post their spoilers regardless of anyone's wishes or feelings. Apparently, the Halo Infinite opening scene isn't too spoilerific, but still, most of us will want to keep the surprise.

While a few videos don't appear to immediately spoil anything huge that, it's subjective and certain elements of gameplay will mean more to other players, so please be aware when sharing anything online about Halo Infinite.

How Can I Play The Halo Infinite Multiplayer?

After more delays than we'd care to count, the long-awaited sequel to 2015's Halo 5: Guardians is finally on the way. Despite worries the whole title would be pushed into 2022, multiplayer dropped mid-November, with the main campaign just around the corner. Be warned though, both co-op campaign and Forge have already been delayed

Halo Infinite has been available to play since the Xbox 20-year anniversary event, where the gaming company revealed they'd be launching multiplayer straight after the 15 November showcase. You will soon be able to play the full Halo Infinite campaign when it launches on December 8.
