Fall Guys Is Getting An Alien Crossover With Xenomorphs
In space, no one can hear you "bean." While Mediatonic's Fall Guys might look like a family-friendly adventure where you bounce around colourful lily pads and try to evade grumpy rhinos, it's actually got a dark underbelly. You might not think of Fall Guys as a horror game, its upcoming Alien crossover might have you thinking differently.
Horror and Fall Guys actually go hand in hand. If it's not a nightmarish reveal of what those bumbling beans look like beneath their pasty skin, it's a Doom crossover that brings the demon-busting Doomguy to the shop. We've seen adorable crossovers with everything from Sonic the Hedgehog to The Nightmare Before Christmas, but for the next one, we're blasting off with the USCSS Nostromo.
What Is The Fall Guys Alien Crossover?
Posting on Twitter, noted Fall Guys leaker @KrxnkyFG shared footage of the Alien crossover skins. It wouldn't be anyone else, and we get to see Ellen Ripley and a Xenomorph in all their glory. The Ripley skin might look like a generic woman with coiffured hair, but if you look closely, she's wearing the same uniform Sigourney Weaver wore in Ridley Scott's 1978 classic.
We've previously seen the Alien name branch out into its own titles like of the terrifying Alien: Isolation, the disappointing Aliens: Fireteam Elite, and the upcoming Aliens: Dark Descent. Closer to Fall Guys, you might remember both Ripley and the Xeno appeared in Fortnite as part of Chapter 2 Season 5 and remain a popular addition to some players' wardrobes.
Others were over the moon that we're getting an Alien crossover in Fall Guys. One fan cheered, "I was so scared that the xenomorph Looks weird AS a fallguy, but they found a way To make him a good outfit." Another added, "Damn they got Ripley too this collab goes crazy," while a third said, "You might just make me buy the game."
Are More Skins Coming To Fall Guys?
Apparently, this isn't the only sci-fi crossover coming to Fall Guys. Only days ago, there were claims that Alien, Hatsune Miku, and Star Trek are also on the way. Now that Alien is pretty much confirmed, expect the other two to follow suit.
If all of the above is to be believed, there's a distinctly space theme for Fall Guys Season 2. One leaked screen shows off nine new trials with an out of this world feel. If you want to check out the full Battle Pass, leaker Pancake seems to have it all. Now that Epic Games has taken Fall Guys under its wing, expect the crossovers to keep on coming. Still, we're a bit sad there isn't a Predator skin yet to recreate Alien vs. Predator.
